Spanish MAHA branch celebrates 20th anniversary

The subsidiary MAHA Maschinenbau Haldenwang España, S.L., based in Girona in Spain, was founded 20 years ago and has gone on to become the market leader in the inspection sector and for the local testing organisations.

Haldenwang, 3 January 2017. 20 years of MAHA España – a cause for celebration! For since its foundation in 1996, and in the past ten years in particular, the company has performed very positively, grown sustainably and – thanks to its innovative thinking and team spirit – become the market leader in Spain in the inspection sector and for the testing organisations.

“We are delighted that we have had so much success in Spain over the past 20 years and we are particularly pleased that some of our workers have been with us since the beginning, as our employees’ motivation and commitment to MAHA has made a real impact on our success,” says Bernhard Gött, managing director of MAHA Beteiligungs-Gesellschaft mbH in his speech to the 20-person team of MAHA España as part of the joint anniversary celebrations.

The tremendous closeness to the customer achieved by a service and dealer network that covers all of Spain, including Mallorca, Menorca and the Canary Islands, has proved to be highly lucrative for MAHA España over the years. Locally, the company is considered a reliable partner for lorry workshops, although it aims to also establish itself in exhaust technology in the future, for strategic reasons. A major challenge, but the first step has already been taken: at the anniversary celebrations it was announced the exhaust device MET 6.3 has been certified for the Spanish market – an important milestone for MAHA España, as this product is set to redefine exhaust measurements in the region.
