With immediate effect, Dr Thomas Aubel has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Familie Rauch foundation and the advisory board of the MAHA group of companies. He takes over from Uwe Behr, who stepped down this October for personal reasons.
Haldenwang, 15 December 2017. The Board of Trustees of the Familie Rauch foundation is looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with its new member: Dr Thomas Aubel has accepted the position of trustee to the Familie Rauch foundation with immediate effect, whereupon he also joins the advisory board of the MAHA Group. In future, the full committee will therefore comprise Andreas Zängerle and Dr. Thomas Aubel along with advisory board chairman Thomas Visel.
In Dr. Aubel, MAHA has gained an experienced member for its Board of Trustees. After reading for a degree in mechanical engineering at Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg, Aubel completed a doctorate in 1994. From 1997 onwards, he spent 20 years in managerial roles for various technical service providers at home and abroad. These included TÜV SÜD where, within 18 months, he established general vehicle inspections in keeping with the German model for TUVTURK in Turkey, setting up almost 200 vehicle testing stations. His next post was heading the mobility division of TÜV Rheinland AG. Today he is a member of the Management Board of the redi-Group, an international service business and a leading expert in quality issues with more than 1,200 employees at 11 locations world-wide.
“As a technician with management experience, a wealth of expertise and established networks in the automobile industry, Dr. Aubel has a deep understanding of our products and markets, and the ability to implement the strategy of the MAHA Group as it faces the challenges of the future,” says a delighted Thomas Visel, chairman of the Board of Trustees.
